The board is great for portability. Easy to erect. Sturdiness is okay, it could be a little more sturdy. It is definitely lighter weight than the other marker boards that I have used.

When my daughter had to start live streaming from home due to illness, we were rushed to find tools she could use that would replicate the classroom making it easier for her and her teachers. This was the only board I found that had dry erase on both sides, all the others had chalk boards on one side which are no longer used in the schools. I was hesitant tho because the price was considerably lower than other brands and typically you get what you pay for.The lowdown:• they shipped from CA extremely fast. So fast it came a week sooner than they said it would!! THANK YOU!!• packaging from manufacturer was ok - there were foam protectors on all 4 corners but had the shipper laid anything on top of the box, the board could still have been at risk because there’s nothing to keep the box from caving in the center, which is what happened. Lucky for us the board wasn’t damaged but it sure would be nice if the manufacturer would slip some foam or even packaging bubbles on each side of board when packaging!• Directions were easy except when it came to the pen holder. I panicked when my husband started trying to pound it into place but learned after 10 frustrating minutes of trying every possible way to hang/attach it that pounding it into place IS the only way to do it.• the paper clamp at top seems sturdy and serves its purpose• to adjust the boards height or direction you have to adjust the left knob one direction while adjusting the right knob the opposite direction. This is where I had to drop a star. The board has to be perfectly aligned to allow it to smoothly adjust. If one side is higher than the other, it makes it a bit of a nuisance. You have to constantly tighten/loosen knobs so you can step back and see if it’s aligned properly. Trust me when I say ppl will notice when one side is higher than the other and their true ocd will come out. Now here’s where I hope the manufacturer will pay close attention: please figure out a way to build in a ‘level’ up at the top so that the user can adjust via the level and save a lot of time, adjusting and aggravation! My husband is going to create a makeshift one but it sure would be a smart move on manufacturers part to include a built on one! (You’re welcome 😉). Other than that, we did need to add a little lubricant in the slides on side of board - they are such a snug fit, that in itself hindered how quickly the board could be adjusted.• sure would be nice to have color options, but the red isn’t too bad, just sticks out!• one leg is shorter than the other for standing purposes I suppose but it’s a slight headache when folded up and propped against something like a wall because gravity only allows you to stand a certain way or it will fall over.• comes with a magnetic eraser which I love cause less chance of misplacing and 4 magnets (2 yellow and 2 red)• board is designed to flip but you have to adjust the knobs (loosen in separate directions) to do it. Trust me when I say, forget how cool it is to flip it and save yourself the aggravation - just pick up the board and walk it around manually• on a fun note, my other child thought it would be fun to use other side and draw with her sister - made it convenient to have TWO dry erase sides in this case allowing them both to be artistic at same time!!Closing: in this case we didn’t get what we paid for, we got more! But just keep us in mind when you redesign it and need someone to beta test 😂

This easel is easy to assemble and it’s great to have a folding base. It does have a mechanism for holding paper. The tray for holding the markers did not fit properly.
