This is solid and very well-built, and there's a lot to love about it. The fact that it has a built-in USB-C hub to make it easy to use the stand as a single docking station with good cable management is really nice.My only complaint is the "lip edge" on the front of the stand... the edge is not very high. The thickness of the bottom half of a laptop is going to be an issue -- particularly if your laptop has any kind of bump or rubber edge on the bottom of the laptop. This is often the case as designers need a gap between the bottom of the laptop and the table/surface it is on to get airflow moving through the laptop fans so your device stays cool. And while this stand has holes on its resting surface to make that possible, any laptop with too much of a rise on the bottom won't be held by the "lip" of the stand, especially if it is tilted forward.Such is the case with my laptop. Granted, mine is a 17" screen. But the screen size isn't a problem. This stand is solid and holds it in place very nicely... it's just that the bottom edge of the stand won't "catch" the bottom edge of the laptop and it just wants to slide off if the stand is tilted too much... which would happen with any laptop that has too much of a gap on the bottom.TL;DR: This is a very nice, sturdy stand... but you might want to look elsewhere if your laptop doesn't normally sit flat on a solid surface, or has a rise of more than 1/4th an inch on it's bottom edge.

Great to have if you're a traveling worker or have to work in a smaller space where you have to move stuff around often. It's got 2 usb-c ports, 2 usb-a ports and an hdmi cable. Only 1 of the usb-c cables can support power to charge your device. Both usb-c ports support data but neither support display so you'll only have the hdmi port for an additional display. It connects to your device via usb-c so it can support a slew of modern devices without issue. If your computer has additional display ports/usb-c ports for additional screens, you can more than the just the one that is supported through the docking station. I've used it with a few different laptops, both mac and windows, as well as my iPad and everything functioned beautifully.The laptop stand is strong and heavy, fairly adjustable, you'll need to use a bit of force to adjust it. The rubber pieces on the stand hold the laptop in place and has several holes to allow air flow from the laptop. The paint damn near matches the space gray of my MacBook though a bit chipped off the edge pretty much out of the box but it's not that noticeable.

This stand is super heavy duty!! I think it could hold an elephant. :) Just kidding, but it can definitely hold a laptop or an iPad with no doubt of squashing it down. It's got a cord that I haven't really used yet. I'm not sure the point of it, I mean, if you're running a cord to your stand and then from your stand to your device, what are we saving as far as convenience or functionality? Not much, but I suppose the makers had their reasons and it doesn't get in the way or anything so it makes no difference to me. I just wanted a stand for my iPad and MacBook. :) I love it!!
