This is a decent case, especially for a beginning student. However, it seems that it was made to store violins of a very specific shape/design, or the design is somehow flawed. My standard 4/4 violin did not quite fit inside - I had to really force it to just barely get it in. I don't think it's a good idea to subject the violin to that kind of external force in the long term.
