This is a jug. It's pretty basic but it does the job. Being glass it feels quite nice but it adds a fair amount of weight to it. The strainer in the cap is a nice touch and means fruits can be left in water to infuse it without ending up in your glass or cup. Overall i do like this but i think its expensive compared to others so i'm unlikely to buy another. It will get well used though until it's dropped or breaks.

This isn’t a premium carafe, but it absolutely does the job. The borosilicate glass is clear and feels sturdy, even though it’s not real glass in the traditional sense. Both the lid and the silicone base feel well made. The 2000ml size is excellent for a household of two, especially during the summer, perfect for keeping cold water in the fridge, which was my main goal in avoiding plastic bottles for environmental and health reasons.That said, it is rather large and doesn’t fit easily into my fridge without making a few adjustments. It won’t sit on the door shelf, for instance. The scale line printed on the jug is quite handy when mixing drinks like iced tea or just to check daily water intake. The lid fits snugly but isn’t secure enough to lay the jug on its side. I do love the silicone base—it actually works to keep it from slipping. So far I’ve used it mainly for water and iced tea, but I can imagine it’d be great for sangria too, as the lid design cleverly prevents fruit from falling into your glass. I haven’t used it for hot drinks (I bought it for cold use), but since it’s borosilicate, it should hold up well. It’s super easy to fill and clean, and the opening is wide enough for my hand to reach inside. It did come with a brush, but it wasn’t much use, so I binned it. Thankfully, it’s also dishwasher-safe. All in all, it feels solid, reliable, and not fragile at all. I’d happily recommend it.
